Join us at Brisbane Central as we continue with our current series, Set Apart. This week Pastor Neli compares a Christian’s journey as a race with the perseverance required in sports competitions. It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind, feeling like we’re constantly running a race with no finish line in sight. The truth is, we are part of something much bigger. We are training to become champions. Our journey as Christians is likened to running a race, with strict training, obstacles, and a finish line that promises a prize beyond measure. Let’s stay focused, let’s keep running with endurance, and let’s remember that the journey is worth it, for the prize is eternal.
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. – Revelation 21:5-7 (ESV)
