Join us at Brisbane Central as we continue with our current series, Be Still. This week Pastor Neli reminds us of the transformative power of spending time in God’s presence. Just as Jesus drew strength from his intimate relationship with the Father, we’re urged to inhale God’s presence and exhale justice, mercy, and humility in our daily lives. Whether it’s standing up for the marginalised, showing mercy to others, or humbly surrendering to God’s plan, we’re reminded that our mission flows naturally from our worship. Let’s embrace this week with renewed zeal, knowing that God equips us with everything we need to make a difference in the world around us.
“With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? – Micah 6:6-8 (ESV)
