Join us in Logan as we continue with our current series, A Light in Babylon. This week Pastor Henry looks into how God used Daniel to humble Belshazzar as he defiles God’s vessels. Do we see the importance of these vessels that have been entrusted to us? Do we see the value that God has placed in each and every person around us? Every creature is required to give glory to its creator. The breath of the creature should praise its creator. How should we conduct ourselves as ones that are made in the image of God?
And you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this, but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven. And the vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, but the God in whose hand is your breath, and whose are all your ways, you have not honored. – Daniel 5:22-23 (ESV)
