This week Samantha Thomas shares the good news of great joy brought by an angel to the lowly shepherds who were keeping watch over their flock by night. Like those shepherds, we are assigned to a certain field, a certain flock – whether that’s our family, friends, or colleagues – and God has placed us there intentionally. Follow the rhythm of the shepherds: first, encounter God and then ‘go’ and make known what you have heard and seen, building the rhythm of ‘coming’ to Him and ‘going’ to tell others.
