God of All Seasons – Winter

God of All Seasons – Winter

Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, God of All Seasons. This week Stephanie encourages us during our own challenging “winter” seasons of life. Winter is not a dead season, but a transforming one where God does deep and necessary work, even beneath the surface. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, so we do not need to fear when foundations tremble. We can stop striving and release control, knowing that breakthrough and calling often only emerge after a period of stillness, allowing our roots to go deeper.

Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him, and he will act.

He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
    and your justice as the noonday.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
    fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
    over the man who carries out evil devices! – Psalm 37:5-7 (ESV)
