Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, GEN United: Bridge Builders. This week Pastor Henry teaches us the need to make room for God and others in our schedules, hearts, and homes. We can sing and cry aloud in all circumstances, even in seasons of brokenness and hurt, as an act of thanksgiving and faith in God’s promises. Expand your spiritual, emotional, and relational bandwidth to make space for those who are not yet part of your community. Go deeper in prayer, God’s word, and character, so that your “tent” can withstand growth. Let’s put our trust in God’s plan for the church to spread out and possess the nations as we stretch our faith, compassion, generosity, and obedience, and to use them for God’s glory.
4 “Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
5 For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. – Isaiah 54:4-5 (ESV)
