Join us at Logan as we start our new series, Unto Us. This week Pastor Henry, drawing from the book of Isaiah, illuminates a message of hope amidst impending judgment, highlighting the birth of a child as a divine gift to humanity. Reflecting on the vulnerability of a child, we explore the humanity of God embodied in Baby Jesus. There is a contrast between fear and love, emphasising love’s openness, trust, and teachability. Be encouraged you can overcome fear to receive the gift of love, and embrace vulnerability. Trust in God’s abundance and remain open to His guidance.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6 (ESV)
