Church in The Mess – Order in Worship

Join us at Brisbane Central as we continue with our current series, Church in The Mess. This week Pastor Neli encourages us that all things should be done decently and in order for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.  Just as every member of an orchestra knows their role and their part in the symphony, the Holy Spirit as the conductor, is trying to get your attention, urging you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author, the composer, and the finisher of our faith.  God’s order allows us to use our freedom in a way that helps everyone. By knowing your part and preparing in private, you put on display a beautiful work.

If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord. If anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized. So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. But all things should be done decently and in order. – 1 Corinthians 14:37-40 (ESV)
