Join us at our Logan Church as we continue with our current series, Acts: Season 2. This week Pastor Henry invites us to reflect on who we are truly living for. We are to live for an audience of one – Jesus – rather than allowing our behaviour to be shaped by the desire to impress the people or crowds watching us. We can rely on God’s grace to position us and His divine power to equip us with the ability to walk through every door He opens. Even in the most ordinary responsibilities, remember that you serve a consistent and whole God who equips you with the strength to reflect Him in every area of your life.
And Stephen, full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people. Then some of those who belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and disputed with Stephen. But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking. – Acts 6:88-10 (ESV)
