We Are – Discipleship

We Are – Discipleship

Join us at Logan as we commence our new series titled, We Are. This week Pastor Henry encourages us to see our life as a journey of discipleship. Discipleship is not just about following rules or attending church services; it is about a personal and ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s about walking closely with him, allowing him to transform your life, and being committed to him wholeheartedly. Don’t be afraid of the challenges that come with this journey; embrace them as opportunities for growth and deeper fellowship with Jesus and your community. As you engage in this journey of discipleship, know that you are not alone. Let’s strive to live out our core values, particularly discipleship, so that we can have a lasting impact on our communities and the world.

While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. – Matthew 4:18-22 (ESV)
