We are excited to start our new series, “Prodigal God”. Pastor Neli refers to the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son and compares the meaning of each. Like the father in the lost son, God is pursuing us. Aren’t we thankful that God has pursued us, found us and brought us out of the dark corner which we thought ourselves as incomplete to bring us to a place where there is celebration? Because Christ diligently seeks us, we should do likewise to the lost.
Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
