Be Still – Scripture

Be Still – Scripture

Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, Be Still. This week Pastor Jr brings a powerful reminder of the transformative practice of being still in God’s presence, even amidst life’s challenges. We’re encouraged to embrace deep into God’s Word for spiritual nourishment and guidance. As we navigate a world filled with distractions and fast-paced living, let’s remember that true blessing comes from being favoured by the Lord, not from worldly success or material wealth. So let’s take intentional steps to walk away from wickedness, stand firm against sin, and refuse to sit with scoffers, knowing that our faithfulness will be rewarded. Find strength and peace in God’s presence as you journey through the week, knowing that you are deeply loved and immensely blessed. Stay rooted in His Word and keep shining brightly!”

1 Blessed is the man
    who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree
    planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
    and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
The wicked are not so,
    but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
    nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
    but the way of the wicked will perish.

Psalm 1:1-6 (ESV)
