Pastor Neli continues our series this week with “Mend Bend and Send”. When we compare our church to a fisherman’s net, we sometimes forget the method and purpose the net has. Keep this in mind as we answer God’s call. God will gather us to mend us. He’ll then bend us so that we will learn to walk with one another. Then God will cast the net He has built and send us to where the fish need to be caught most.
Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him.
