Acts – Born to Pray

Join us at our Logan Church as we continue with our current series, Acts: Season 1. This week Pastor Henry reminds us that prayer should be our foundational lifeline. Looking at the early church, we see that prayer should be our first response to pressure, not our last resort. When challenges overwhelm us, it’s easy to lose sight of God’s presence, but we must remember: if God was sovereign over the Cross, He is surely sovereign over our suffering. It’s time to shift from praying out of panic to praying with purpose.

And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them, who through the mouth of our father David, your servant, said by the Holy Spirit,

“‘Why did the Gentiles rage,
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers were gathered together,
against the Lord and against his Anointed’  – Acts – 4:24-26 (ESV)
