Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, The Questions: The Hard Questions of Faith. This week Pastor Henry reminds us to ground ourselves in Christ every day, not just on Sundays. As we face the challenges and busyness of life, God invites us into a deeper, daily relationship with Him, guiding us through His Word and prayer. When the world offers its distractions, we are called to stand firm in the truth of the gospel, filtering everything through God’s Word. God’s power, grace, and wisdom are available to us in every situation we face, and as we remain rooted in Him, we will experience the richness of His presence and walk in His purpose for our lives. So stay connected to Him, knowing that with God, nothing is too difficult, and His guidance will help us navigate whatever comes our way.
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. – Collosians 2:8-10 (ESV)
