Join us at our Logan Church as we continue our new series, CORE. This week Stephanie explores how God designed family and what it means to keep Christ at the centre of all our relationships. Placing God first does not mean loving our families less, but rather frees them from carrying the weight of expectations that only God can fulfil. Jesus reorders our priorities and expands family, inviting everyone into a spiritual community connected through faith and grace. So put Christ at the centre of your life, allowing His love to shape how you care for, honour, and encourage those around you.
And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him. And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.” And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.” – Mark 3:31-35 (ESV)
