We’re starting our new series this week entitle Neighbours. Who is your neighbour? Pastor Neli talks us through the parable of the Good Samaritan and compares the people in the story. Each one of us will find ourselves in this parable. We should try to identify as the Samaritan because it’s Jesus Christ who the Good Samaritan is representing. Our neighbour is out there isolated but it’s our job as the church to love our neighbour, love God and love people. We love our neighbour by falling in love with Jesus again.
But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.
